Since it's a Web service, FAXBIS needs no specific software or hardware to be installed. All you require is a simple Internet connection and FAXBIS does the rest, allowing you to send and receive faxes from your workstation just like e-mails. The faxed documents are placed in attachments (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, etc.). The recipient's address is entered in the following format to let FAXBIS know the number: [fax_number]@faxbis.com. The FAXBIS platform, which is connected to the telephone network, immediately takes care of the fax and transmits it to your contacts, who see no difference from a traditional fax. The sender also receives a transmission report by e-mail. Access is provided to a simple, secure Web interface for monitoring and administering the service.
FAXBIS integrates perfectly with your multifunction copier fitted with the likes of like iFax, scan2mail, or eCopy systems. Since the machine is connected to the network through IP, this sending mode requires no fax card or telephone line. With eCopy, the identified user even receives the transmission report directly in their e-mail inbox.
FAXBIS is compatible with whatever system you have installed: ERP, SAP, AS/400, CRM, GPAO, or other. Certain specific features may require a gateway, but this can be installed on a virtual machine to keep the installation completely hardware free. There is also a web service API to let you integrate FAXBIS for specific needs or to adapt it to a special configuration.
No need to alter or throw away your printed stationary: no matter where you move to, your fax number stays the same.
With FAXBIS, you keep only what's necessary: your numbers!
As an ARCEP* registered operator, we ourselves transfer your number with no third party involvement. This makes our service even more effective. Throughout the whole procedure, you can directly contact the AVM Up staff member dedicated to number portability. This employee is in direct relation with all the other operators on the market to help speed up the transfer of your existing numbers.
*AVM Up is a designated operator following the telecommunication regulating authority ARCEP’s decision 06-1304 of 19th December, 2006.

Simplicity & ease
You send and receive faxes just like e-mails, today's N°1 communication channel in nearly every organisation. This simplicity of use means FAXBIS can be quickly assimilated into working habits, making the traditional fax a rapidly fading memory.
No more need to walk to the machine or stand in a queue to send or retrieve a fax. You do everything from your desktop computer, with no wasted time.
How do you know your fax was properly sent? There's nothing to say so! The call log won't help you out either. And anyway, where is the dreaded document? Don't say it's been lost …
Question like that is a thing of the past with FAXBIS. All sent and received faxes are archived in PDF format for a whole year along with their transmission report. They can be consulted or downloaded any time you want just by connecting to the faxbis.com interface.
By offering yourself a pooled cloud solution, you won't suffer any loss of response time when sending and receiving, no matter how numerous or how big your faxes are. You absorb activity peaks automatically without even knowing it.
From your e-mail account accessible on any mobile device (Windows laptop, MacBook, smartphone, tablet, etc.) you can continue sending, receiving, and consulting your faxes no matter where you are.
